Somone played this song in my car early in the summer, and I kept coming back; the lyrics piss me off in the best way possible. favorite line: “I asked you / Why you cover up your tattoos / You said only cause you have to / I can’t argue with that”
Tangerine - Rose Paradise
Bittersweet. My song of choice when indulging in the emotional toll of returning to a place you’ve outgrown. favorite line: “When I'm back / In this place / All the rest / Just falls away / And the cliff's gonna have to come down one day / Everything will erode away”

A night drive home from my best friend's house. I listened to this for the first time with all windows down, and the nostalgia this song echoed followed me for the rest of the summer. favorite line: “You're somewhere out there, leaving me little clues / Chewing licorice in your cowboy blues”
